Maple Lawn Farm, Home of the Turkey!

Have you ever seen a 45 lb. Turkey? Then you have never been to Maple Lawn Farm in Futon, Maryland.

Maple Lawn Farm has been raising healthy farm fresh turkeys for more than 55 years. Henry Iager purchased the original farm, a 108-acre parcel of land in Fulton, in the 1830’s and the Iager family has activelyfarmed the land ever since. Over the years the family has produced dairy cattle, hogs and chickens, plus field crops and of course their specialty, “ShoNuf” oven-ready fresh turkeys… with absolutely nothing added.

The fifth generation of Iagers is actively involved in the day-to-day farming operations at Maple Lawn, from the day-old turkey poults, to checking and filling bins, to retailing. It is family pride that makes their turkeys extra special and of course Seibel’s slow cook ovens complete the transformation to a wonderful roasted turkey.

The large, open barns allow the turkeys plenty of fresh air and room to move about. Maple Lawn turkey-breeding practices are all well thought out and designed to produce the most healthy, nutritious, and delicious turkeys possible.

A PH. D. nutritionist oversees the turkeys’ nutritional needs and constantly monitors the flock’s growth and progress. Maple Lawn Farm specialize in offering a broad range of sizes from 12 lbs.to 45 lbs.
